Instructor Training

Do you enjoy inspiring others and sharing your knowledge to help other people succeed in life? Then you should pursue a career as a cosmetology, nail technology, or esthetics instructor. As an instructor, you will shape and mold the future beauty professionals in our business. Leading by your example, you will have an instrumental effect in constructively demonstrating the techniques you learned during your career.

In South Carolina the instructors course is 600 hours in length which takes about 4 1/2 months to complete on a full-time schedule. After graduating from beauty school you must pass the South Carolina State Board instructor's exam to become licensed. To enroll in the instructors course, you will need a high school diploma or GED and have a South Carolina license in your instructional field.
